First Lesson

In our first lesson of A2 coursework we looked at different clips from past students for their coursework. This gave me ideas for next years coursework and I have decided that I am interested in either a music video, short film or a film opening. It was very useful looking at past students work as it gave me an insight in what I am expected to do and it showed me the different ideas you can take. For example in a music video, different coloured light, studio space and background dancers.

Lauren and I, created a short clip of our friend lip synicing a song by Bruno Mars. We did this so we could practise our skills and editing before the preliminary task. This was very usefeul as it allowed us to play around and experiement with timings and sound.

Preliminary story board

Here is our preliminary task story board. The song we chose is Diamonds by Rihanna as it is a music video that we can replicate as well as it linking to our final music video genre. We are only taking 30 seconds of the music video as it doesn't have to be long and we chose clips that are doable for our actress.
